13 years of teaching in LEA maintained
schools,
I qualified as an educational psychologist in 1986 and am now
in my 24th year of continuous employment as such by one of the

an Associate Fellow of the British
Psychological Society,
a member of the Division of Education and Child Psychology
and a Chartered Educational Psychologist.
I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health
Professions
Council.
I
specialise in educational problems with
pupils and students from 6 - 16 years old.
My extensive experience includes
assessment for dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia/dyscalculalia and
learning
difficulties,
"Statementing", "access arrangements" for public
examinations
and Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tribunals both as
as an independent psychologist and equally "from the other side"
as the Local Education Authority Representative.
As a
private, independent psychologist, I
can be available at relatively
short notice to give advice and an unbiased opinion about your child.
As well as providing psychological advice,
I can advise on SEN procedures and SEN Tribunals.
I can also help to clarify previous educational psychology reports.
I am
based in the South East of the UK, in
London SE9
on the Greenwich/Bromley border, 15 minutes from
the Dartford Tunnel/QE2 Bridge Crossing of the M25,
but I am prepared to travel.
